Side Dump Wagon

The side dump wagon is suitable to carry overburden rock materials and mined rock ore from open-pit mines to dumps or crushing plants at open pits. The wagon is designed to operate on industrial railways of mining enterprises.

Design features:

– the structure of the wagon allows it to bear a load of rock lumps weighting up to 3 tones and falling from the height of 3 m onto the bedding not less than 300 mm;

– the wagon’s load capacity is 110 tones which is 5 tones more than that of similar wagons on the market;

– a body of the dump wagon is fitted with stops which secure longitudinal movements against the underframe and as well with locking devices which connect bogies with the underframe;

– pneumatic unloading system controls tipping of the body, unloading on either side, and return of the body after unloading back to a running position;

– side wall opening mechanism ensures discharging with opposite wall locked and provides for safe locking of walls in wagon’s running position;

– with a body tilted at a certain angle, an air retarder of pneumatic unloading system ensures absorbing of blow while tipping of body, reduces air consumption, and increases strength of a wagon.
